These are miniature wooden puppets similar to those used at the popular water puppets of Vietnam. I watched a performance in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) last may. The real puppets were like five times bigger than these souvenir editions. There are life-sized ones by the entrance of the theater too! I want to have more of these kind, especially the fat ones!

Water puppets from Saigon
These are miniature wooden puppets similar to those used at the popular water puppets of Vietnam. I watched a performance in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) last may. The real puppets were like five times bigger than these souvenir editions. There are life-sized ones by the entrance of the theater too! I want to have more of these kind, especially the fat ones!
